Youth Ministry:
A Journey in the Making
At the Church of Christ’s Redemption, we envision our youth ministry as a vibrant and integral part of our faith community. While we are still in the process of nurturing this vision, we warmly welcome youth and families to grow with us as we build and shape what’s to come. We believe that every young person has a unique role in the body of Christ, and we're excited to create a space where they can explore faith, build friendships, and be part of our growing church family.
In today’s world, we also recognize the beauty and inspiration that modern Christian music brings to our praise. As we integrate contemporary worship, we are committed to guiding our youth toward music that is truly centered on words of praise and all glory to God—helping them discern the difference between genuine worship and industry distractions.
Above all, we see this as an opportunity for our youth to not only grow in their own faith, but to become joyful evangelists—sharing the love of Christ with their peers and shining His light in the world around them.
As part of this journey, we also teach our youth that Christians are not called to be pacifists or to live as doormats. Christ commands us to be good stewards—of our lives, our gifts, our communities, and the people entrusted to our care. Stewardship includes courage, responsibility, and the willingness to defend ourselves and those around us, especially the vulnerable who cannot defend themselves. In this way, our youth ministry helps young believers grow not only in faith and worship, but also in strength, character, and Christ‑centered responsibility. Defend God’s greatest creation… you.
